The perfect link building tool for small business who want to do it themselves is a tough nut to crack. Why? Because there are a lot of different link building tools on the market, many of which are very good.But a do it yourself SEO tool must meet a lot more criteria than whether or not I’d use it.

I hear three big complaints from business owners when I talk about search engine optimization or online marketing.

1. I don’t understand it
2. I don’t want to learn another software
3. I can’t afford it

Okay, so the perfect SEO or link building tool for small business owners requires three things:

1. Ease of use with “done for you” “point and shoot” simplicity
2. Continuous online availability
3. Very low cost

Let’s take a closer look at each of these factors.

Ease of use

Okay, what would make an SEO software easy to use? How about it does all the work of finding the links for you and all you have to do is just click and type so you could create more one-way, incoming links in just a few minutes a day? I’d like that.

Continuous Online Availability

How about an SEO software that you could log into from any computer with Internet access? I think that would help. And no software to download or learn. And it automatically updates and is maintained so you don’t have to bother with the time, trouble or expense or taking care of these issues (or paying someone else to come in and do it for you. Kind of like the benefits of leasing an automobile.

Very Low Cost

This one’s the kicker. Like I said before, there are a lot of nice SEO software packages for link building out there. I know, I’ve bought and tried and/or still use most of them. But we’re looking for online access, easy to use and learn, and low cost. So I found an online SEO tool that meets the other two criteria and only costs $24 a month. Yeah, that’s right. Only $24 a month. And it does a very good job of guiding you through building high-quality, one-way links back to your website.

The one issue someone might have is that this is strictly an off-site SEO tool. In other words, it’s strictly for building quality, one-way links back to your website. You can’t use it for doing organic SEO to your website. But that’s something I don’t believe business owners or employees should even be attempting. Leave that to professionals.
