My latest marketing trick for a client is Lasik Eye Surgery Minneapolis. The website is a feeder site for a client who maintains a Lasik eye surgery clinic here in the Twin Cities.

He spends an enormous amount of money on advertising and was looking for a way to cut his marketing costs while increasing his business. I recommended targeting a specific popular keyword search for the Minneapolis area. Research led me to “lasik eye surgery.”

Very specific keyword targeting…

There are 165,000 searches per month for “lasik eye surgery.” I chose to target only this keyword phrase so there would be no doubt in Google’s mind (okay, so I’m anthropomorphizing) as to what this site was for, what it was about, and who to send to this site. However, I only wanted to target searches in the Twin Cities area so I bought the URL lasikeyesurgeryminneapolis.com.

WordPress websites are the best for search engine optimization…

I then created a WordPress website because they are fast, easy to create, and easy to search engine optimize. I bought the URL on Friday morning and the site was up and running and done by 2pm Sunday. And I am not a website designer.

However, I have created a number of WordPress websites before, I manage several of them for myself, and my wife is an expert WordPress website designer. (Uh, honey, how do I…)

This is fast money in the bank for my client…

I can almost guarantee this website will rocket to the top of Google rankings in no time for the search “Lasik eye surgery Minneapolis,” and my client’s phone will be ringing off the hook. I did the site for free on the condition that I get a 5% commission on every call that turns into a customer.

This will save him a ridiculous amount of money on his advertising costs, seriously increase his number of patients, and won’t hurt my bottom line either. And it cost him nothing to get it done. Everyone wins.

I’ll be expanding this project to create websites like this for his other clinics in cities around the US.
