Online Marketing Costs Time or Money – Nothing is Free
By
Online marketing is going to cost you time or money. Never believe anyone who tells you about free online marketing.
I talk to small business owners all the time who ask me if there are some kinds of free online marketing ploys they can use. And I always respond, “It’s going to cost you time or money. What’s your time worth?”
You have to ask yourself if your time is better spent doing the “free” online marketing strategies which require skills and knowledge you don’t have, or sticking to what you do best and paying on online marketing expert like me to do the work for you.
Most of the people out there pushing the “free” online marketing ideas are online marketers who know how to use these methods like the back of their hand. They’re hoping to draw you to their web site or blog with the idea of “free” marketing and then sell you their online marketing services or products.
For them, online marketing is easy because they do nothing else all day. A lot of business owners tell me they’d love to do online marketing but they don’t have the time. They’re still thinking that because there’s no physical product involved, it’s free.
But online marketing requires a lot of technical expertise and if you don’t know what you’re doing, a lot of time and money.
So what are you paying a guy like me for when you want to use an inbound linking strategy or search engine optimize your web site or email marketing or pay per click strategy or article marketing or any of a myriad of other online marketing strategies?
You’re paying me for hard-won online marketing expertise, you’re paying me to pick the right strategy for your needs so you don’t waste time or money, you’re paying me to get the marketing off your platter so you can concentrate on your strengths, and you’re paying me for the results I can bring.
if you realize the value of your time, contact me to develop an online marketing strategy proposal for you.
Otherwise, if you want to tackle this yourself, visit my online marketing articles and use the helpful information to develop your own online marketing strategy. Then contact a local college that offers a marketing major. Either sign up to get a student intern to implement the strategy or contact a marketing professor to see if any of their classes might be willing to tackle the project.
