This is the first installment of my Social Media Marketing for Business series. This one is on Facebook. Facebook is a good place to start. A lot of business people have been very successful turing Facebook into a contact and revenue generator.

The best “how-to” I’ve seen yet for Facebook with a plethora of widgets, plug-ins and resources to help you build a killer Facebook page.
This is actually an MLM Marketing blog but a lot of what she recommends will work for any type of business. Not a ton of information but very solid.
This is a list of blog posts on how to use Facebook for business from Social Media University. As time permits, read each of his blog posts on Facebook for an education on the subject.

Thanks for the link and the mention. I hope your readers will check out the Facebook curriculum at SMUG, as well as other social media introductions. You’re right, Facebook is a good place to start, but there are some other good tools to consider, too.

no problem Lee. YOu have some excellent resources on your blog. and yes, there are a lot of different resources to consider. That’s why I will continue to add new posts on the different Social Media networks. while I was originally going to post about my own experiences with Social Networks, it seems foolish to reinvent the wheel with excellent resources like your post out there.
