Found a Fairly Good Source of Marketing Tips
ByI won’t say this is a really valuable resource but there are some great tips if you dig through the blog. Some of it is just worthless BS quotes from self-proclaimed “gurus” but there are some honest efforts to give good advice in some of the posts.
One I especially appreciated was on how one person makes money with their blog. In addition to blogging, they occasionally do an honest review of a product. Then they get an affiliate number for that product and put a link to it in their post.
That post continues to get attention and make them money long after it is buried in the archives. I may try something to that affect myself. Obviously, there’s no point in reviewing a product unless it’s one you really like and would recommend to a friend anyway. Otherwise, it’s just blatant commercialism and will detract from your blog rather than add depth to it. Here’s the beginning of the tip to look for in the list…
