Article marketing services and software can be a nightmare and will hurt your business far more than they will help if you choose the wrong one. Too many of them either use software to generate the articles or extremely low cost “writers” from a country where English is at best, a second language.

When it comes to article marketing strategies, there was a time when lame content generation by English as a second language writers or “automated software” would work. The search engine robots were dumb and didn’t know any better. However, those days are long over. The search engines can read and understand English just about as well as you and I can. They can tell the difference.

What’s more, anyone who visits an one of these ”generated” blog posts or articles will know the difference too. These artcles and blog posts are hideous. No one will read them and no one will buy anything or visit your website because of them.

Most of the software used to “create” blog posts or articles surf the ‘Net looking for blog posts and articles related to your subject. Then they grab and paste together sentences or paragraphs from these other articles or posts to generate a “new” article or blog post.

I’ve even tested some of these “automated” generators. Believe me, if you use the articles they generate ”as is,” you’ll have a mess that no one will read. If you take the time to rewrite it so it’s legible and makes sense, you could have written it from scratch faster.

If you want articles or blog posts that generate real business, you have to either write them yourself, write them and then get them professionally edited, or just pay a real person who writes and speaks your language fluently to write your blog posts and articles. Don’t use automatic software to generate them and don’t use people who are guessing at your language.

If you don’t believe me, here are two blog posts I found today. If they were written by a native English speaking human being, I’m a robot.
