Linkbuilding Ideas – Utilizing Seo Linkvine Backlinks Building Software
Posted by: | CommentsLinkbuilding ideas are a dime a dozen. Just Google “linkbuilding” and you’ll get all kinds of lists of ways to build links.
The problem is, most of them aren’t worth the trouble to create them. For linkbuilding to be effective, you need to have real content out there, on solid, fairly high page rank blogs or websites, with a lot of similar or related content. And your content needs to have anchor text links in it feeding people to your money site and associated other content.
What’s more, you need a variety of content. You can’t rely on just articles or just blog posts or just videos or just blog commenting. You have to mix it up or Google will see it for what it is. Self-promotion.

Search Engines Are the Number One Source for Consumers Looking for Local Businesses
Posted by: | CommentsA friend and business associate just sent me a link to a press release by WebVisible and Nielsen/NetRatings Report about their investigation into how Internet users interact with advertising. In the press release, they claim that their results show that “search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask have become consumer’s most widely used source to find a local business from which to buy“.
If you have a small business or derive a lot of your business from local customers or clients, you really need to read this report. As far as I’m concerned, the most important thing for you to note is that “Search engines are used by 73% of consumers when seeking local products and services — more than any other media type.”

The worst marketing word in writing b to b copy – “solutions”
Posted by: | CommentsI have no idea what this word means. And neither do the people who read it. I really get frustrated when marketing people try to write copy. I just had a marketing person insist I add this to a paragraph:
”We’ll help you determine and identify your exact needs, then create and implement solutions that provide you with the results you need.”
I have no idea what that sentence means and neither will the business managers who read it. This is what I mean by corp-speak. Generic terms that say nothing specific to the “needs” of your potential client.

Everyone can use more Twitter tools right? Well if Twitter is part of your marketing campaign, here are two great lists of Twitter Tools to help you with everything from setting up a dashboard to make it easy to post on all your Twitter accounts (I have four Twitter accounts and boy has it simplified things) to testing software that lets you know what someone primarily Tweets about so you can decide whether or not to follow them.
